Now registering!  Two, three, and five day programs available for children age two (by June 1, 2009) through kindergarten.  

TRPCS Purpose

  • TRPCS is an extension of the church's ministry to, and for, children.  The school will strive to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment based on the belief that God is love, which will foster social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual growth of its children.

Registration

  • TRPCS is open to all children regardless of race, sex, religion, national origin or creed.  A variety of classes is offered for children two years through kindergarten.  Children will be placed into classes based on their age as of September 1, of the current year.

  • A nonrefundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment to secure a space for each child.  The annual supply fee is payable with the first month's tuition.  Registration is open now by calling (936) 273-6330.

  • An information meeting about the preschool and kindergarten curriculum will be held prior to registration each January.

  • Registration for the 2009-20010 school year will be open to the public on March 3, 2009.

Programs

  • Individual programs are provided to serve the needs of children two years through kindergarten.
  • Two and three-year-olds are offered either a two or three day a week program.
  • Pre-Kindergarten classes are held three days a week with emphasis on preparing a child for formal Kindergarten.  This is accomplished through various activities that are age and stage appropriate.
  • Transition class for five year olds in preparation for kindergarten meets three days a week from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm .  Pre-reading, math readiness, science, and social studies are the curriculum emphasis.
  • Extended care is time spent reinforcing concepts and allowing time for free play, enrichment activities, and a rest period.
